Does anyone know which band played the music in a McEwan`s Lager advert back in the 80`s and what the song was called? It involved ragged ,thirsty slaves rolling huge round stones in a giant stone-age clock. It was a classic but may only have been shown in Scotland. I think it was showing during the World Cup in Mexico.

Thanks Jimmy,I Know the one you mean but that wasn`t it.It was pretty obscure. It was an early(ish) example of what later became "house "music with a driving beat and "background" vocals. It was one of these adverts that people were talking about at work the next day so I was amazed it did not make a recent "100 best adverts" on TV recently: this is why I think it may only have been shown in Scotland.
