Can anybody tell me the advert Bill Dean (Harry Cross form Brookside) was in. He played a football manager who was taking his non league side to play Arsenal in the FA cup it was set in a mens clothes shop. I have been asked this question and it is driving me and my mates mad as we can remember the ad but not what it was for. I am sure it is the late seventies early eighties

Thanks
Andy

The only reference I can find to the ad is that it was for a "fashionable mens outfitter". The best way to remind yourself who the ad was for is to work backwards and try and guess which fashionable mens outfitters might have advertised on TV. The Savile Row shops would certainly NOT have done so.

Burton's? Sometimes referred to as the poor man's Savile Row?
