Could anybody please settle an argument between my wife and I. Who does the voice over for the speckled hen adverts, not the Gryff Reese Jones bit at the end. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know the answer but have found a site with the clip of Old Speckled Hen 'something different' Dave indent. Maybe someone else will know.

Hope this doesn't prove to be a cause for divorce:

It sounds to me like Mark Heap, star of "Spaced" and "Green Wing", also some recent Seat car adverts. Recently, while watching Spaced on Dave, they went straight from him speaking in character, to the Hen advert, then to the Seat ad, and it convinced me they were one and the same.

Yeah, I'd say it was Mark Heap, definitely.

Mark Heap was the cartoon fox voice, but I don't think he does the new puppet fox.
