Cant remember the brand, but I seem to remember it being a beer/lager. If I am right, the end of the ad shows him enjoying a swig in the pub, and the dog appearing by his side with the ball in its mouth.

Are you thinking of this Budweiser ad "Rubber Floor" from 2007?

Hi, the advert was for 'Fosters lager'. The guy throwing the ball to the dog was steven Pinder who used to be in 'Crossroads'.

Hi, sorry I sent duff information. The lager brand was a cool sharp 'Harp', not Fosters as I originally said.
Hope this clears this up. Gordon
